Stuffed Chillis

  • RECIPE MAKES: 6 minutes
  • PREP TIME: 10 minutes
  • COOK TIME: Recipe makes: 6 stuffed chilis
Step 1

Heat the deep fat fryer as per manufacturer’s instructions.

Step 2

Mix ProZero and Fate Low Protein All-Purpose Mix until it forms a light batter.

Step 3

Slice the tops off the chilis but not all the way through, to leave a partially attached lid.

Step 4

Using the handle of a teaspoon, remove the chili seeds and fill with Violife creamy original.

Step 5

Close the lids and dip the chilis in the batter.

Step 6

Roll the chilis in the crushed Mini crackers and deep fry for 1 minute or until golden brown.

Step 7

Carefully remove using a slotted spoon and place on kitchen towel to drain excess oil.

Serving Suggestion:
Serve with sour ‘cream’ and chive dip (see recipe)

  • 1 packet Mini crackers, crushed
