  • RECIPE MAKES: 10 biscuits
  • PREP TIME: 20 minutes (+ 1 hour 20 mins)

Pre-heat the oven to 190°C/170°C Fan/Gas mark 5 and line 2 baking trays with baking parchment.

Place all the biscuit ingredients in a bowl and mix to form a dough.

 Cover with cling film and place in the fridge for 1 hour.

Divide into 12 pieces and roll into balls and place on the baking trays. Press down lightly to flatten.

Bake in the oven for 10 minutes until golden.

 Remove the biscuits from the oven and leave on a wire rack to cool completely.

Meanwhile, melt the Vitabite in a heat proof bowl over a pan of simmering water.

In a separate bowl, mix the icing sugar and water.

When the biscuits have cooled, dip half of them in Vitabite so that the bottom is covered. Then dip the other half in the icing until the bottom is covered.

Place in the fridge for 20 minutes to set and serve.

  • For the biscuits:
  • 200g Runny honey
  • 85g Butter
  • 200g Fate Low Protein All-Purpose Mix
  • 100g Cornflour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • ¼ tsp Bicarbonate of soda
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon, ground
  • 1 tsp Ginger, ground
  • 1 tsp Allspice, ground
  • ½ tsp Nutmeg, ground
  • To decorate:
  • 3 x 25g Vitabite bars, broken into chunks
  • 100g Icing sugar
  • 2 tbsp Boiling water
