                  Basil Pesto Pasta

              Method
            
            
          Pesto:
                  
        
          Step 1
                  
        Put basil, garlic and olive oil in a blender or food processor and blitz until smooth.
          Step 2
                  
        Season to taste.
          Pasta:
                  
        
          Step 1
                  
        Cook the pasta according to packet instructions.
          Step 2
                  
        Drain the pasta and put it back in the dry pan. Make sure that the pan is off the heat.
          Step 3
                  
        Mix in pesto and serve.
Top Tip:
Add some of your favourite permitted roasted vegetables for a bit of a extra flavour!
