In the run-up to International PKU Day, we’d like to take the chance to recognize all of the fantastic people in the PKU community and their milestones throughout their journeys. Whether you’re a PKU-er, parent, family member or friend, please share with us your experiences and achievements using our dedicated hashtags #pkYOU and #VitafriendsPKU to enter. From the big achievements to the little moments, we want to hear it all!

PRIZE DRAW TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. The Promoter
The promoter is: Vitaflo (International) Limited (“Vitaflo” or “Promoter”) whose registered office is at Suite 1.11 South Harrington Building, 182 Sefton Street, Brunswick Business Park, Liverpool, L3 4BQ (company number 03380926).
2. The competition
2.1 The title of the competition is: CELEBRATING #PKYOU.
2.2 The prize competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, associated or affiliated with, Instagram or Facebook.
2.3 To enter the competition and for a chance to win a hamper containing a range of low protein products, follow the steps detailed at clause 3.3 below on how to submit your video entry showcasing your PKU moments, highlighting your experiences and accomplishments whilst living with PKU.
2.4 The Promoter will select the best video as the winner of the competition from all eligible entries received by the Closing Date. The Promoter shall make the final decision.
3. How to enter
3.1 The competition will run from 25 May 2023 (the "Opening Date") to 19 June 2023 (the "Closing Date") inclusive.
3.2 All competition entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than 5pm on the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.

- To enter the competition, follow the steps:
3.3.1 Follow @vitafriendspku on Instagram and/or @vitafriendspku.uk on Facebook; and
3.3.2 Submit a video entry showcasing your PKU moments, highlighting your experiences and accomplishments whilst living with PKU. The video must be submitted via direct message or by using both the dedicated hashtags '#pkYOU' and 'VitafriendsPKU'. You may submit multiple video entries separately under the same username.
3.4 No purchase necessary and there is no charge to enter the competition.

- By entering the competition, you agree:
- to have your video featured on any of Vitaflo’s and its affiliated companies’ social media sites worldwide, including Vitaflo’s VitafriendsPKU social media accounts; and
- to grant to Vitaflo a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, and to authorise others to use, your name, voice, image, likeness and video on any of Vitaflo’s and its affiliated companies’ social media sites worldwide.
- By entering the competition, you confirm that you have obtained the consent of anyone who is featuring in your video (including the consent of any parent/guardian whose child/children may feature in your video and are under the age of 13).

- By entering the competition, you agree that the Promoter may contact you after the competition on Facebook and/or Instagram in connection with the competition, including by way of following you/following you back on Instagram and/orFacebook, sending you a direct message if you have won, and/or resharing to you the VitafriendsPKU Instagram/Facebook stories.

- The Promoter will not accept: a) responsibility for competition entries that do not follow the entry steps at clause 3.3 or are lost, mislaid or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or b) proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.
3.9. By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

3.11 The competition entries will be judged by the judges chosen from the Vitaflo team based on the best video, with particular focus on originality and on how influential the video is. The decision of the judges (acting reasonably) will be final.
4. Eligibility
4.1 The competition is open to all followers of VitafriendsPKU who are over the age of 18 and residing in the UK and have a personal Instagram and/or Facebook account, except: a) employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies; b) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above. Entrants who are found not to be over 18 will be disqualified.
4.2 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
5. The prize
5.1 The prize is a hamper containing a range of low protein products. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item. There is no cash alternative for the prize and it is non-transferable. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.
6. Winner announcement
6.1 The winner of the competition will be announced on 28 June 2023 on the VitafriendsPKU social media Instagram and Facebook accounts (Announcement Date).
6.2 The Promoter will contact the winner via direct message on Instagram and/or Facebook within 2 weeks after the Announcement Date, using the username provided with the competition entry.
6.3 The decision of the judges nominated by the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
7. Claiming the prize
7.1 Please allow 14 days after the announcement for delivery of the prize.
7.2 The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. The winner must respond to claim the prize within 1 week of the Promotor contacting the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available or fails to respond, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the entries that comply with clause 3.3 and that were received before the Closing Date.
8. Limitation of liability
8.1 The Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9. Ownership of competition entries and intellectual property rights
9.1 By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material, you:
a) warrant that you are the owner of all intellectual property;
b) assign to the Promoter all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee; and
c) waive all moral rights
in and to the video comprised in your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.
9.2 By entering the competition, you agree that the Promoter may, but is not required to, make your video entry available/featured on the VitafriendsPKU social media accounts and on Vitaflo’s and its affiliated companies’ websites and social media sites worldwide and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the competition. You agree to grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the competition entry, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the competition entry.
10. Data protection and publicity
10.1 If you are the winner of the competition, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, image and town or county of residence to announce the winner of this competition on the Promoter’s VitafriendsPKU social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook) and on the Promoter’s website and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes. If you object to this data being made available, please contact the Promoter at: Yasmin.Haines@vitaflo.co.uk. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request and must provide basic details of the winner (e.g. surname and location) to anyone who requests within 1 month of the Closing Date.
10.2 By entering the competition, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the competition entry may also constitute “personal data” within the meaning of applicable data protection legislation which may be held and used only by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition. Any personal data provided by you will be permanently deleted 1 month after the Closing Date in line with Vitaflo’s data privacy responsibilities.
11. General
11.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
11.2 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions or are suspected of fraud or cheating.
11.3 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
11.4 The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter's control.
11.5 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11.6 By entering the competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
