My First Low Protein Omelette

  • RECIPE MAKES: 2 Small Omlettes
  • PREP TIME: 5 Minutes
  • COOK TIME: 6 Minutes
Step 1

Mix Fate Low Protein All-Purpose Mix, turmeric and baking powder in a mixing bowl. 

Step 2

Add oil and water to bowl, beat with an electric hand whisk for 90 seconds (until the texture resembles whipped cream).

Step 3

Add tomatoes to the omelette mix.

Step 4

Heat butter in a frying pan on a gentle heat, then spread half of the omelette mixture over the bottom of pan.

Step 5

Once omelette has cooked for 1-2 minutes or bottom is golden brown and top of omelette is getting dry, use a spatula to flip the omelette over then cook for a further 1–2 minutes. 

Step 6

Add half of the Violife and once melted, use a spatula to fold omelette.

Step 7

Repeat steps 4-6 with remaining mixture.

  • 1g Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 15ml Oil
  • 100ml Water
  • 40g Tomato, diced
  • 2g Butter
  • 40g Violife For Pizza mozzarella flavour, grated
