Mini Bread Loaves

  • RECIPE MAKES: 4 Mini Loaves
  • PREP TIME: 55 Minutes
  • COOK TIME: 30 Minutes
Step 1

Preheat oven to 200°C/fan 180°C/gas mark 6. 

Step 2

Place water, psyllium husk and yeast into a bowl, stir and leave to thicken for 10 minutes. Once thickened, add 3 tbsp of oil and stir through. 

Step 3

Add Fate Low Protein All-Purpose Mix and salt to thickened mixture, then using your hands mix until a dough has formed. Knead dough for 3-5 minutes. 

Step 4

Leave dough to rise for 30 minutes, until double in size. 

Step 5

Grease loaf tins with remaining oil. 

Step 6

Knead dough again for 1 minute then divide equally between four small tins, pushing down ensuring dough touches all sides of tin. 

Step 7

Leave to stand for a further 10 minutes. 

Step 8

Brush top of each loaf with oil and bake in oven for 30 minutes. 

Step 9

Remove from tins and cool on a wire rack. 

You will need a Small Loaf Tin (15CM  X  9CM)

  • 9g Psyllium husk
  • 7g Dried yeast
  • 4 tbsp Oil
  • 500g Fate Low Protein All-Purpose Mix, plus extra for dusting
  • Pinch of salt
